THE FOURMILE TREEHOUSE - BOULDER, CO

Two connected treehouses in the mountains outside of Boulder, Colorado - a kid's treehouse, and a teahouse treehouse. Bridges through the trees provide access from the hillside, and connect the treehouses to each other through an intermediate platform. The teahouse treehouse takes its inspiration from traditional Japanese teahouse buildings, adapting the form to create the perfect little meditative space up in the trees. The kid's treehouse features a classic rope ladder that can be retracted through a trap door, bucket & rope lift, fireman's pole, and tube slide!
