THE ROCHE PLAYHOUSE - BOULDER, CO

This ground supported playhouse is a great little backyard addition. It is accessed only by a rope ladder up through a trap door on deck, so passwords are required for entry! Underneath is a woven netting bench for hanging out while watching the zipline, which takes off from the rock next to the house and shoots across to the other corner of the yard. Up in the house is another net feature - a loft accessed by a ladder that climbs up the wall and ceiling. The handrails are made with retired rock climbing ropes, and the playhouse siding utilizes salvaged wood from an old fence section that was torn down in the back yard!
